What topics will DIRFCON 2026 cover?

The announced programme is organised around seven areas of interest for finance leaders: financial governance, management control, digitalisation, treasury, CFO strategy, electronic invoicing and credit management.

Topics will include the application of artificial intelligence to financial processes, reporting automation, liquidity management, digital security and developments in electronic invoicing. The congress will also explore tools for assessing credit risk and improving collections management.

Artificial intelligence and financial digitalisation

AI and automation will feature prominently at the event, with content covering agentic AI and reporting supported by generative artificial intelligence.

For finance teams, these topics raise practical questions: which tasks should be automated, how can information quality be ensured, and what controls should accompany the introduction of new tools?

The value of digitalisation depends on how it connects with business processes. Consistent data and integrated systems provide an essential foundation for turning information into actionable decisions.

Treasury, management control and risk management

Liquidity, management control and credit risk will also feature in the congress programme.

These areas directly influence a company’s ability to anticipate future needs. Understanding when receipts and payments will occur, identifying variances and having reliable information enable businesses to assess their requirements more effectively.

Electronic invoicing and the evolving role of the CFO

Electronic invoicing and CFO strategy are among the programme’s key themes.

Both highlight the relationship between processes, technology and financial leadership. Adapting invoice management requires a review of how information flows between departments and systems. Similarly, a more strategic finance function needs tools that support analysis and collaboration across the organisation.

Acevedo at DIRFCON 2026: our participation as speakers

At Acevedo, we will participate as speakers at DIRFCON 2026, sharing our perspective as a technology consultancy specialising in Oracle solutions and business processes.

Our experience has shown us that modernising financial management requires connecting three elements: business needs, working processes and the technology that supports them.

An ERP system, for example, should make financial and operational information accessible and consistent. Application integration should prevent interruptions in data flows. Automation should address a specific need, with clearly defined objectives and controls.

Our participation in DIRFCON will be an opportunity to share this perspective and speak with professionals making decisions about the future of their systems and financial management.

As a Leading Partner, we are also strengthening our connection with an event dedicated to knowledge sharing between finance leaders and industry specialists.

DIRFCON 2026 speakers

DIRFCON 2026 will bring together finance executives, treasury leaders and specialists in technology and business transformation. This range of backgrounds will connect the challenges facing the finance function with the experience of professionals from sectors including retail, energy, insurance and technology services.

Gabriel Grosso will represent Acevedo in a session on agentic AI and the role of the CFO

Gabriel Grosso, Enterprise AI Director at Acevedo, will take part in the session “How Agentic AI Is Redefining the Value of the CFO”, scheduled for 26 November, from 12:20 to 12:50, in the Sage Auditorium.

An engineer with an MBA, Gabriel has more than 25 years of experience in IT and over 20 years in CIO and CISO roles. At Acevedo, he currently designs and builds AI agents with human oversight that automate financial and operational processes on ERP systems without modifying the system’s core.

His participation directly addresses one of the congress’s key discussions: how to incorporate artificial intelligence into the finance function and what this evolution means for the role of the CFO.

Why attend DIRFCON 2026?

The congress offers an opportunity to focus on issues that are often pushed aside by day-to-day operational demands.

For finance leaders, attending can be particularly valuable for:

  • Comparing priorities: identifying challenges shared by other organisations and understanding how they are addressing them.
  • Assessing technology initiatives: asking questions about integration, automation and data availability.
  • Connecting strategy and operations: linking investment decisions to specific management and control needs.
  • Sharing experiences: broadening perspectives through conversations with other professionals.

DIRFCON’s combination of panel discussions, interviews and networking opportunities will support this exchange between attendees and experts.

See you at DIRFCON 2026
